angrypizza98 A welcomed surprise of an album. Mixed with sounds of some of my favorite bands such as Bright Eyes with an early 2000's indie rock feel. Friko's debut album is one filled with incredible and catchy songs that contain introspective lyrics alongside passionate and unique lead vocals. Even though it uses that classic indie rock sound I still feel the band has so much identity in the structure and pace of their songs to make them standout amongst other imitators that have existed over time. 9/10 Favorite track: Chemical.

Adding to Chicago’s long lineage of forward-thinking indie rock, Friko transform each song into a moment of collective catharsis.
